Note:  Final day of Jets Development Camp today.  The prospects hit the ice at 10:30 am for a scrimmage at the IcePlex.

Note III:  The Jets announced that they have placed veteran defenceman Mark Stuart on unconditional waivers for purposes of buying out his contract.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets enter free agency with distinct needs.  Get your popcorn ready for Saturday because it could make for an interesting time around this city.

Winnipeg Sun:  Niku provides depth on back end.  There has been a lot of anticipation since he was drafted and now you will get a chance to see him regularly making an impact at the next level for the organization.
