Winnipeg Jets Practice Report

In a somewhat unusual move the Jets, who were scheduled to be off today, instead switched their off day to yesterday which was originally supposed to be a game day!!  Still with me?  OK good.

According to Brian Munz of TSN 1290 Winnipeg Jacob Trouba and Marko Dano were on the ice for skate while Mark Scheifele, Shawn Matthias and Tyler Myers were not.

Audio:

Jacob Trouba:  What have the last few days been like?  How does he feel?  Does he know if he’s closer to returning?  How many stitches required?  Thoughts on the tilt?  What started it?

Adam Lowry:  What have the last few days been like?  Able to adjust to the switched routine.  What was the focus of today’s skate and importance of speed against the Devils?

Marko Dano:  How is he feeling?  What was yesterday like?  Important to have a day off after the physical nature of the game against the Predators?  Playing the role of spoiler.

Coach Maurice:  What has the last few days been like?  Updates on guys not skaing today (Scheifele, Matthias).  Update on Myers?  Dano an option?  Trouba?  How would he assess the season of Dustin Byfuglien?  Are they seeing a big difference in the risk/reward aspect of 33’s game?  What does Nic Petan need to do to get himself into the mix?  On what aspect of Petan’s game needs improvement?  Is he curious about the Calder race?  What does he hope the writers need to look at in terms of the Calder voting?  Is he concerned about Eastern bias?  On what makes Laine special?  More on 55 and 16.
