Jets moves on June 30th:

Chris Thorburn gets three year contract.

James Wright did not receive a qualifying offer.

Keaton Ellerby did not receive a qualifying offer.

Matt Halischuk did not receive a qualifying offer.

Adam Pardy gets one year contract.

Minor moves:

– John Albert, Ben Chiarot, Patrice Cormier, Michael Hutchinson, Carl Klingberg & Eric O’Dell all received qualifying offers.

    When you stop and look at the UFA’s available, what is wrong with Ollie Jokinen??
    I am sure he will take a one year deal, like he has said he would have done before.
    40 pts are hard to come by, and with the players we have not made qualifing offers to, we have a lot of room and there is no way he will hamper any of our future players chances to make this team. If anything his Veteran presence is an important factor. Making a splash for the sake of it, is not Wpg’s way.
