I’d like to see the Jets go after one of these guys for the 3rd line C role: Bolland, Legwand, Ott, Boyle, Roy, or Lewis. Obviously Bolland will be a highly sought after UFA and is used to playing Championship Hockey; Legwand is probably looking for his final contract and I could see him staying in Detroit or returning to Nashville; Ott has been one of my fav players since he played World Juniors. He could bring stability and grit to the 3rd line and wouldn’t cost a lot of money; Boyle is huge guy with offensive upside; Roy is getting up in age, but can stil provide scoring and leadership to a team; Lewis is a former 1st rounder who found himself deep on the depth chart in LA.
An upgrade to the bottom 6 is what the Jets need as their top 6 looks pretty good. I wont even touch on goaltending,
