TSN: Jets look to continue move up standings versus Canes. Brian is down in Carolina and files this report in advance of the Jets and Hurricanes contest.

Sportsnet:  Hockey Central Trade Tracker – Evander Kane (video).  This was a late addition to the Morning Papers but in case you missed it the Hockey Central panel discusses whether the talented winger could be moved.  Personally I don’t see it happening.  This segment should probably be called Trade Speculation not Tracker.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Maurice pre-game presser (audio).   Was the group receptive to what he wants to do?  Is Andrew Ladd good to go?  B/C of youth of team when achieving success does light go off for them?  Being able to have 1 on 1 conversations.  How much pride does he take in the Hurricanes franchise?  Challenges his team will face tonight?  Power Play discussion.  Has he shifted any of the responsibilities of his assistant coaches (Pascal Vincent & Charlie Huddy).  Is he considering a third assistant coach?
