Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers
Note: Thankfully the month of Movember is coming to a conclusion in a few days. The Illegal Curve team have been growing our mustaches to help raise awareness and have collectively raised close to $2,500.00. If you would like to donate to our team, here is a link. Last night Ezra hosted a Snap the Stache event which was a huge success in terms of raising awareness of Movember. Here are some of the winners proudly displaying their Movember awards.
Winnipeg Free Press: Montoya stands tall against old team. He is certainly making the most of his opportunities.
Winnipeg Free Press: Jokinen sparks checking line. Oftentimes there is little glory ascribed to the role of shutting down the oppositions top line but coach Noel recognized the importance of what his 2nd line has done this past week.
Winnipeg Free Press: They’ll take the win. When they look back on the schedule you don’t remember how you won but simply see a ‘W’ on the list of games. While coach Noel would like to have seen some things improved upon he will gladly take the two points.
Winnipeg Sun: Montoya pumped about beating Isles. You got the sense that it was more than just a simple win when Al Montoya held his hands up for quite some time after the final buzzer sounded.
TSN: Jets hold off Isles to remain perfect on road trip. Voice of the Jets Dennis Beyak breaks down the Jets win over the Islanders on Long Island.
TSN: God shed his Grace on Thee (video) Did you catch the subtle change to last night’s Canadian national anthem? If not listen in as singer Jill Schackner adds her own twist prior to puck drop.
CBC: Rogers deal will net Winnipeg Jets about $13M. Fans will be glad to see the extra money going towards improving the fan experience at the MTS Centre.
