Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Team belongs to Bogo, Kane.   Quite simply these guys are the faces of the franchise and if this team has any chance at the playoffs, it will be because these two have stepped up their game.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets can’t match that PriceThe BC product was simply sensational when his team needed him and unfortunately for Jets fans, there weren’t too many of those.  Despite being out shot, the quality of those opportunities were limited.  Firing shots from the blue line as you gain the zone isn’t going to beat a goalie like Price.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Rookies a bright spot for struggling JetsBoth Trouba and Scheifele looked very good in the loss last night.  While there were some mistakes, there were quite a number of very positive things that allowed coach Noel to praise the rookies.

Winnipeg Sun:  Scheifele has best game as Jet . The talk in the press box last night was the impressive game that Scheifele played yesterday.  He was one of the few Jets that was noticeable.

Winnipeg Sun:  Slow starts a recurring nightmare for slumbering Winnipeg JetsThat first two minutes of the game must have felt like a lifetime for the Jets and inevitably it ended with the Habs scoring the only goal they would need to win the contest.
