Note: Tonight we kick off the Winnipeg Jets home opener as they host the L.A. Kings at the MTS Centre.

ESPN:  Don’t forget the names Trouba and Scheifele.  Looks like the 2012 and 2011 first round selections for the Jets are garnering attention past the perimeter.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Tangradi says game against tough Kings ‘going to be a war’.  Good thing then that the Jets are ranked as one of the heavier teams in the NHL in tonight’s expected battle of attrition.

Winnipeg Sun:  Evander Kane pops the question.  Congrats to the young sniper and I’m sure Jets fans everywhere are now ready to see him pop in some goals.

TSN:  Jets ready for home opener against Kings.  Brian looks at the Jets lines and game story.

NHL.com:  Jets hoping to come out firing against Kings.  Time to take the bull by the horns and show that you are prepared to dance in the rodeo with the big boys.
