While training camp hasn’t started yet a number of Jets and prospects were on the ice at the MTS IcePlex today including Andrew Ladd, Bryan Little, Blake Wheeler, Evander Kane, Olli Jokinen, Mark Scheifele, Chris Thorburn, Eric Tangradi, Zach Bogosian, Tobias Enstrom and Mark Stuart.

Practice @ IcePlex

Andrew Ladd – His summer.  Ready for the season to start?  Expectations for this team.  Is it daunting to move West?  Building a winning culture.  First impression of Setoguchi.  Does Jokinen look motivated to have a rebound season?  What was his week like in Calgary for Team Canada Olympic camp.  Can he take his game to higher level?

Evander Kane – How’s the foot feeling?  How has his summer been?  Is he ready for the season to start?  What is it like to see some of the new players?  Keys to finding chemistry with new players.  Does he see a big difference between the West and East?  Feel good to be back in routine?  How many goals is he going to score this year?

Devin Setoguchi – Getting out on the ice, gearing up for training camp.  Coming into a new organization.  Wearing #40 instead of #10 (Respect for the history of Dale Hawerchuk in Winnipeg).  Benefits of changing organizations.  Knowing other players on the team.  Has he considered who he’d like to play with and where he fits in.  Keys to finding chemistry.  Style in the Western Conference.  Developing his shot.

Olli Jokinen – How was his summer?  Did he have a different focus this off season?  Getting back to his past form (started skating earlier than ever).  New challenge of the West.  Things he wants to improve on this year.
