2.  Zach Bogosian

3.  Blake Wheeler

So now that you’ve had a chance to listen to Richard and read his analysis, what do you think the Jets should do to get these important RFAs signed?

Pay them and keep them. The Jets have to develop and keep their young stars – they can’t rely on attracting free agents from other teams in their prime.

My feeling is that the numbers are about right.

I’d be happy with something like this: Wheeler at $5 million per year. Little at $3.5 million per year. Bogosian at $4.5 million per year.

One thing I’m wondering about: Since the cap is going down, will star players be signing contracts worth less than those signed in recent years?

Sign them all! A year ago, I wasn’t sure about Little, but he stepped up big time this past year. The stats don’t always reflect how effective he was.
(and) I think Tyler Bozak (UFA) would look much better a Jets jersey rather than wearing a Maple Leaf. His work ethic is exactly the right fit for our team, and he’s from Sask.
