Jets prospect and World Championship news:

–  Trouba did not play in a 4-2 U.S. win over France.

– Kulda had 3 shots in a 2-0 Latvia loss to Germany.

Barrie Colts official site:  Colts Comeback to Force OT, But Knights Prevail 5-4 in Game 6What is better than a Game 7?  After an improbable third period comeback, the Knights and Colts will do battle in London for the OHL Championships on Monday night.  Mark Scheifele was hit by Josh Anderson of the Knights which forced him to leave the game but he returned with a minute to go in the 3rd period.  If you’d like to see the game highlights, here they are.

    Haven’t found much on this yet, but I listened to the Barrie game & Scheifele must be fairly badly injured. He was hit 2 minutes into the third & was in the dressing room onward from that point. He did return with under a minute left in the game & was on the ice for the tying goal, but he remained in the dressing room for overtime. In the OHL finals in overtime to win it all & go to the Memorial Cup, remaining in the dressing room is NOT a good sign. Hardly a spec of news anywhere on this.
