Jets prospect and World Championship news:

– Ladd scored the opening goal in the 7-1 rout by Team Canada over Norway.

– Trouba finished -2 with 7:54 time on ice (lowest of US defencemen) in a 5-3 loss to Russia.

Winnipeg Sun:  Prospect Mark Scheifele a Colt becoming a thoroughbredPaul had a chance to catch up with the Jets prospect as he continues his run in the OHL finals.

Winnipeg Sun:  Scheifele thinks Hawerchuk will make fine NHL coachJets 1.0 fans are very familiar with the man known as ‘Ducky’.  Can his success at the Junior level translate to the NHL?  We will have to see if/when he gets that opportunity.
