Omaha World-Herald:  Assistant Brian Renfrew has left UNO to join the Winnipeg Jets.  Second time in under a week that UNO is making noise with the Jets, as this time the team has reportedly hired Renfrew to be part of the scouting team.

NHL news:

Toronto Sun:  Bertuzzi trial put on hold until new yearThe wheels of justice don’t always move very fast and eight years later, it appears that getting the trial started won’t be happening for awhile.

SI.com:  Report suggests Coyotes buyer $20 million shy of necessary fundsOf course the NHL still feels that a deal will be completed, but a deal with whom?  While we know that deadlines don’t mean much in the desert, how much longer can the NHL allow this process to drag on?

    Addition to the scouting staff are welcome. I’m concerned about the staff which covers he QMJHL. 2013 will feature a lot of talent from that league and the Jets/ Thrashers record is this league is extremely poor.
