Winnipeg Free Press:  Enstrom part of plan.  Now that Enstrom is locked up long term, the focus will likely shift back to getting Kane’s deal done.  And then if Chevy can get something done with Wheeler & Bogosian, this team will have a great young core locked up for years to come.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets lock up Enstrom.  Another indication that guys are willing to play in the Peg’ long term, as the quiet Swedish defender signs for an additional 5 years (he was under contract until the 2013-14).

College Hockey News:  UNO’s Megna to sign free agent NHL Deal.  Appears the Jets are in the running for his services.

Winnipeg Free Press:  New ways to get kids into the game.  Feeding off the Jets momentum is a good start.

News and Observer:  Jordan Staal likes how he looks in Canes red.  Know who doesn’t like the way he looks in red?  Jets fans who won’t be eager to see both Staal’s playing against the Jets 3 times in Winnipeg next season.  Wonder what sort of  inventive chant they will come up with?  “Marc is better just doesn’t have the right ring!”
