Conference Call:

Can he forgive Kane for running him over?

– Jokingly said he can’t remember. Said he’s happy to have Evander Kane on his team.

How did he end up in Winnipeg?

– Jets are a young team and he liked the direction the team is heading in.

How many games would he like to play?

– Its about being ready and happy to back up Pavs. Did say whether its 20 or 30.

Did the convo with goalie coach Flaherty help make decision?

– He has a lot of respect. Played against him in the minors.

What will it be like getting the start in Winnipeg?

Walking in as opposition gave him chills. Compared it to playing at UofM

Good job IC Boys.Montoya was #1 on the list of “Who will replace Mason?” from a couple days ago. I like the signing. My old man is a huge isles fan and watched every game last year (I know a sad existence) and he says that Al was playing really well until Kane ran him over. 1 year @ 601 is a great deal.
HNL made a comment today that the Jets now have the #4,5 and 6 draft picks for 2004

  2. don’t forget 271 overall Grant Clitsome…..just saying…
