He has a full NTC for the next few seasons so he would have to accept the trade, but hypothetically what if he said yes? What is his market value? Columbus gave up a first and 3rd rounder and a RFA prospect (Voracek) for him last year. Would the Jets be willing to pay that price for a star with a reasonable contract (5.2) through 2021-22 to centre their top line? I know Chevvy wants character guys and, dry island aside, he is that type of player. He was the first sub on team Canada 2010.
