The negative stories surrounding the Jets lately overshadow stories like this. Why cant this be a story in the Sun or Free Press? Instead we hear about #9 potenially dodging out on his bill. I would love to see the Winnipeg media go away from negative stories that define Toronto and Montreal and focus on stories like the ones above.

It was like a scene from the coke commercial. My son was watching at the glass near the door, Wheeler skated by, opened the door and said “Hey kid, want my stick”… all my son could do is nod his head and just smile. He took it to school for show and tell the week after. It’s these acts of kindness that imprint on a young child to be nice to others when they are older.
