I believe it is a tasteful acknowledgment of the hard work TNSE has put in to getting the NHL back in Winnipeg. That being said, I’m torn on it with respect to hearing it in other team’s rinks (ie. Toronto last night). Other team’s fans may not appreciate the sentiment and it may be interpreted the wrong way and I would not want to see this show of appreciation lead to any negative experiences for the Jet fans out there.
