  1. Brutal in my opinion not to get Troy Bodie signed. He would have taken a pittance to sign with this team. Tanner Glass was awful in the final preseason game, hope he can elevate his game. Liking the roster, despite Bodie’s absence.

  2. Zak Katz says:

The addition of Scheifele really makes a big difference with the team’s
scoring depth. The third “scoring” line in Noel’s system of Cormier,
Antropov and Burmistrov could surprise a lot of people with some nice
production against the opposing team’s scrubs.

I’m also wondering if Noel would consider pairing Byfuglien with Bogosian late in games if they Jets were down a goal or two

  3. I wouldn’t have minded seeing Bodie slide into Glasses spot, because he seems to have a little more offence in his game. That said, Glass is already under contract and from everything I have read, he is a solid character guy.

  4. Glass may have appeared brutal because he took on a NHL heavyweight early in the game and I think that stung him a little.

Not final yet…Jets claim Brett MacLean off waivers from Phoenix…who’s headed to the A?  Stapelton?

CJOB just reporting that Patrice Cormier is the player being sent down to St. John’s.
