my thoughts on the october 9th lineup:
LW: Ladd, Kane, Gregoire, Glass
C: Antropov, Scheiffle, Wellwood, Slater
RW: Little, Wheeler, Burmistrov, Thorburn
LD: Postma(first couple of games), Bogosian, Oduya
RD: Byfuglien, Enstrom, Stuart
G: Pavelec, Mason
Bench:Jones D, Meech W/ D (may start in AHL but the guy is versatile and can play anywhere in the lineup), Bodie W (good energy guy, deserves to stick and we need his toughness)& Hainsey D (if we are only allowed to keep 23 then send Meech down to start)

PP1: Ladd, Little, Wheeler, Byfuglien, Enstrom(Hero line) PP2: Kane, Sheiffle/ Wellwood, Burmistrov/ Antropov, Bogosian, Postma
PK1: Ladd, Wellwood, Byfuglien, Stuart PK2: Little, Slater, Bogosian, Oduya

I also think we should look at bringing up Cormier once Scheiffle hits 9 games... and that Gregoire should hold his spot until Fehr comes back and then he would be better suited to see sometime in the AHL. I also think that it may be beneficial throughout the year to entertain offers for our elder statesmen Haisey (2 years / 4.5 million) and Oduya (1 year 3.5 million) as our Defence matures. That way we can integrate guys like Postma who are coming into their own into the lineup.

This looks really good for Gregoire and Bodie to atleast have a shot of cracking the big roster... I think some of these players are going to be up and down quite a bit... I like postma, but he might be better suited playing in St Johns and getting called up in case of injury or maybe filling in a spot if we unload Hainsey or Oduya down the road toward trade deadline.
Also with Scheiffle, keep him for the 9 games & then send him down. But is it possible to call him up for playoffs still? Or do we lose that ability if we send him back to juniors?
