Winnipeg Jets training camp has begun.

It’s all about winning jobs now. (Click here to read my article Five Battles to Watch for at Winnipeg Jets Training Camp.)

To get you ready for training camp, Illegal Curve has put together a Winnipeg Jets 2011 Training Camp Primer.

On Wednesday, Michael Remis posted the complete Winnipeg Jets Training camp Schedule, available here, provided courtesy of True North Sports & Entertainment.

Lots of interesting names in group 2
Postma and Gregoire could legitimately be fighting for roster spots, or at least roles as one of the first call ups. Not to mention Machacek, Telegin and Schiefele being among that group and I am curious to see how they fair here.

Sorry to be clueless, but, can I just show up at the Iceplex and watch? (I’m in from out of town and wouldn’t mind catching a glimpse before only seeing ‘em on TV the rest of the year). Any guidance much appreciated.

I’m anticipating it to be quite packed, I would go early to ensure entry.

Yes. The practices at the MTS Iceplex (tomorrow and next Saturday) are open to the public. All the other practices are at the MTS Centre and closed to the public. 3 different groups of players are practicing tomorrow, at 9 AM, 1045 AM & 1230 PM

Thanks guys. As long as tix aren’t needed. Hope to make it out.

Will the Tim Horton’s on Portage as you enter the IcePlex be the busiest it’s ever been today?  My guess is yes, so if you need coffee before the practice you might want to stop somewhere else.
