Update:  Jets to make ticket announcement tomorrow at 10 AM.  Due to an unexpected conflict at the MTS Centre, the Jets ticket announcement has been moved from 10 AM Thursday to Friday at 2:00 PM

Winnipeg Free Press:  Wannabe Jets sluggish vs. Oilers.  I agree with Tait’s assessment of the team and was also impressed by the play and maturity of local product Jason Gregoire.

Chris D:  Jets Evander Kane signing autographs on ThursdayPerhaps he will sign a bday card for yours truly.  While he hasn’t been in the city long, this is already his 2nd official autograph session.  This was the lineup for his 1st session.

the Score:  Bruins sign Marchand to two year deal.  Both sides are likely happy that the deal got done, and they didn’t pay a small fortune to keep the feisty Marchand.

    As for why it took so long… That is how a lot of these negotiations go. Bogo’s agent had no leverage aside from the threat of Bogo not being in camp and it is his job to get as much money as possible for his client.

    Anyways, problem solved.
