Great signing. I like the fact that the face of our franchise is a hardnosed Canadian capable of playing both ends of the ice. With Ladd under contract for 4 years, hopefully more FA will follow. I’d like to see Wheeler and Bogosian either signed long term or traded. Gotta trade talent for talent

Let’s not forget that Ladd is just 25 with 2 cup rings already. I like this signing by the Jets front office.

I’m guessing Chevy won’t be sending McPhee or Darcy Regier any thank you notes soon. Still, this contract seems like reasonable value for the Jets, without the albatross potential of others (coughcoughErikColecough) listed here.

Great analysis. Seems the Jets got a good deal when you have loonies like Burke throwing money around like its water.
