Jamie, I agree on your thoughts. They clearly had a type of player in mind, and went for it. I applaud their strategy, but wonder about the lack of the “gamebreaker” I mentioned. Hopefully they don’t regret passing on Couturier.

I agree with your assessment. True North wasn’t drafting for next season, they were thinking down the line, hence the players they chose.

Let’s just hope we aren’t subjected to “this team is going to be amazing in 3-5 years” like we were with the first Jets team.
