Of course , who wouldn’t right? He also gave the standard “best player available” response to whether you draft for need or take the top player that is left when your turn arrives. I believe this draft falls in Winnipegs favour a bit in that there should be one to three center/forwards that are ranked around 7 when their selection slot occurs. Zinbinejad is an Iranian/Finnish/Swede that plays like a Canadian and seems to be an option with Strome and Couterier who may last till pick 7.

I don’t see them moving up. These guys aren’t about flash, they aren’t the Dallas Cowboys, they will take the best player available at 7 and be confident that their evaluation is better than everyone elses.

I would not be surprised to see the team move up, as they have some assets and could be looking for the safest pick possible. That said, I think that if they hold their pick, they go for the safest player possible, and that is likely Strome.
