Jay, really appreciate the insight on the d-men. I have heard of most of the guys but have never seen them play, so I was at a disadvantage and didnt want to write anything about them based on paper reports.

As a Thrashers fan, I can say that the forward crop is a bunch of 3rd line guys. Or as we liked to put it, "Dudley Guys". Rick Dudley LOVES big body grinder types. Cormier is pretty good. Real leadership type guy. He was the main piece the Thrashers wanted in the Kovalchuk deal. Machacek was originally thought to have more potential as a scorer, but that hasn't panned out in the AHL. Klingberg looks pretty decent and I know the old regime was pretty high on him. Daultan Leveille, or the last hope to salvage something from the Hossa trade, is a real burner with some good scoring ability. Like Burmistrov, though, his small stature is a concern. The defense is where this team is strong. Kulda is nasty. Has a real nice mean streak. Paul Postma has shown some real good offensive skill. Might have to bulk up a bit, but he could be a good one. Both defensive prospects could be just as good as Hainsey or Oduya at a MUCH cheaper cost. The goalies have high upside, but have been a bit inconsistent to this point. Overall, C+ would be a pretty accurate rank for this group. The system is hurting badly for some Top six forwards.
