  • Tony Granato has landed on his feet in Pittsburgh, writes Terry Frei of the Denver Post.
  • How did Adam Foote deal with all the booing in Columbus yesterday?
  • Team Canada’s World Juniors outfit only has one NHL player–Alex Pietrangelo–but will this trend continue?

Richard, I am kind of shocked that John Stevens was fired when he had a winning record.

Goon, I agree. After two playoff losses to Pittsburgh–finalists the past two years–the move was surprising to me. I like Laviolette as a coach, but I think Stevens is on equal playing field in terms of coaching ability.

  • Rusty

Agreed. The Flyers are in win-now mode, and a coaching change is the easiest way to light a spark.

I can’t see Souray going out East. Has he not repeatedly insisted he wants to stay in the West and near his kids?
