Rooks are definitely getting it done! What Myers is doing in Buffalo is to me the most impressive but I think JVR will wrap up the Calder with Gagne out.

How about Sophomore of the year?

The class with Stamkos and Neal is phenomenal. These guys are creating their own chances nightly and not just burying but Sniping!

P.S – Got stamkos and neal late in my fantasy pool !

I think you’ll see Del Zotto’s numbers come back to earth, but he has had an impressive start, no doubt.

D used to be known as vet country. There was always the feeling that young guys had to be seasoned, that with few exceptions like #4, it took time to develop a D-man.

I was going to put this one to Randy, but this seems an appropriate forum:

What’s with all the young D stepping in and having amazing years right out of junior? Bogosian, Hedman, Doughty, Schenn, Myers, Del Zotto…

Very worthy candidate as well. Just as I said in the piece, I think defense is that much harder as a youngster, so I give the edge to Del Zotto.

Wouldn’t at all be surprised if JVR was favorite at season’s end.

How about James van Riemsdyk? 13 points in 10 games and a +6 in only 13:03 ATOI. +6 on the FLYERS: that’s 3rd on the team behind Pronger and Carle. And that’s a point less than Carter and 2 less than Richards in 2 less games.
