Team Enigma: I thought that getting rid of Ronny would do it for the Sharks and once again they had a great regular season, but the playoffs…

I said last year that the only thing that would let Wilson keep his job was a Cup, but…

It’s a funny thing though:

If you never make the playoffs you might be a “lovable loser”.
If you just make the playoffs you it might be you “gave that high seed a scare”.
If you usually finish in the middle playoff spots and even win a round or two, you might be “just a player or two away”.
If you finish near the top and win at least a round you might be in “next year country”.
But if you finish second in the league one year and then first the next and bow out in the first round you’re a “playoff choker”.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned? The author who penned that line never met a disappointed Sharks fan I bet.

As with the other people who left a post… I am wondering if you got your facts from playing EA sports NHL 10 with your 12 year old buddy?

I am a nabby fan: Just read below…..

As for the Nabby trade… well Hiller beat him badly in the playoffs. Nabby gave up the first goal in at least 20 games in the first half last season all alone, bad goals. The second half of the season and playoffs were marred with 5 hole and lazy bad goals. He barely broke the top 10 in most stats all year besides wins. His numbers were good last year beacuse of the team in front of him. Look at the shots for and shots against during the playoffs last year. They played well the first two games and should have won those for sure…. Nabby almost single handedly lost the playoffs for the sharks.

The other posters have already covered most of the blindingly obvious, the only one I want to add, and its the one that bugged me the most, is that Shelley is NOT a fan favorite. Has he even won a fight while wearing teal? He’s slow and out of place 90% of the time, now that we have Staubitz and Nichol he is no longer needed as a so called enforcer.

Yeah, lots of factual issues here. And you left our any mention of Malhotra and Dan Hinote. Do your homework before writing reviews. Definitely mailed this one in.

You are full of sheer stupidity Neil. Marleau isn’t going to play centre, Pavelski will centre the second-line with Marleau on the left wing. And when the hell did Cheechoo take a pass from Shelly? Cheech played third line winger most of the season while shelly saw limited 4th line ice time. Get your facts straight man.
