David Poile and Barry Trotz are amazing. Year after year they turn out a competitive team. And they do it with much less than others. They remind me of the old saying about how farmers live such a financially-challenged life that they hold their ancient tractors and combines together with chewing gum and bindertwine.
I’m looking forward to Pekka Rinne breaking the last-years’-hero-this –years’-disappointment Predator tradition in goal, and to seeing more of the young guys like Ward and Jones; but they just don’t have what it takes to make a dent in the Central I fear.

Dirk,

I thought it was him orginally. Now not sure, but looks like him somewhat. I'll check on it.

Rusty,

It'd be a huge addition. In fact, he is the exact type of scoring forward the team needs. Kessel would make them a very dangerous team and on par the Blues and Jackets.

David,

I think St. Louis will surprise most, but Scott Howson has done a great job in Columbus. If the Preds don't add a scorer, I can't see them finishing ahead of those two teams.

Another really good preview Rich.

Of St. Louis, Columbus and Nashville which is the team you see with the most possibility of being the surprising team in the Central?
