Habs. That’s French for I have no idea whatsoever. Last year I knew it was going to be bad. Not as bad as it was, but bad. Check out my comments in last year’s 30 in 30. This year...
I think the Gomez line is going to be fine, but you know what can happen to one-line teams.
If some of the young guys get a chance to play they could open some eyes.
Amazingly enough for so young a goalie, Carey Price faces a do or die year, and he’s facing it in the pressure-cooker. Hope it’s a “do”. Good thing Halak is a solid backup.
I don’t know if this will be the most scrutinized season in some time, Kyle; can you get more than they had in their 100th anniversary year? If so, shamwow.
As for their finish: I’ll say this – I have no clue whatsoever. Maybe just squeak in to the playoffs?

Nice preview!

What I like about just about all Habs season previews is that nobody can confidently say where they're going to land at the end of the regular season. Somewhere from the lower top 8, to the bottom of the conference is what we see, and how can it be any different? With so many changes, there is nobody that can tell me that the Canadiens will definitely finish _____.

This will certainly be the most interesting and scrutinized season the Habs will undergo in some time, and it remains to be seen what will happen to Gainey should this team not click, or not make the playoffs.
