No Datsyuk or Draper tonight for Red Wings

Craig Custance is reporting on Twitter (add on Twitter here) that both Pavel Datsyuk and Kris Draper will not suit up for Detroit tonight.

Not overly surprising considering the quick 24 hr turnaround here.  If these two players were not able to go last night, there probably wasn’t much chance they were going to be ready to go today.  A few people are saying expect Datsyuk back for Game 3, but I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Draper better get back faster because Helm is quickly replacing him. As for Datsyuk I cannot believe the Wings are winning without him but offensively they have been doing this for most of the playoffs.

I’m not sure how much longer though that the Wings can keep playing like this (without Datsyuk) and keep winning.
