If I were a Carolina fan, I'd be worried.

I'd look at how my team had one line going and a great goalie and just squeaked by the Devils, who had two thirds of one line going for MOST of the seven games and a great goalie and missed it by that much.

Here's the thing: if you're just squeaking by a team that plays like the Devils, with what the Devils could bring, and you did it in the most improbable of fashions -- what have you got to show the Bruins?

You've got some big ifs, is what.

If Staal's line keeps rolling, if you can wake up the rest of your forwards (except that waiver claim from Tampa -- you know, the shoot-out king: he's awake), if Gleason can make a pass like that again (hey -- he's not going to make that pass what, 8 out of 10 times), if...if..if...

Of course every game, let alone every series, is a bunch of ifs strung together.

But the Bruins' ifs are different:

If they can continue to roll four lines...

If their power play continues to roll...

If their Norris guy Chara and their Vezina guy Thomas play well...

If they forget to put the pedal down and hold it...

I love the Cardiac Kids. I picked them over NJ. But I can't do it here.

Bruins in 6 (but 5 wouldn't surprise me).
