What team beat writers are saying this afternoon:

  • No Phil Kessel (undisclosed) for the Bruins tonight.  He is expected back next week.
  • Mike Keenan was not in a good mood after last night’s loss.  Flames fans need to relax.  This team isn’t “tanking,” if anything, they are playing a lot better defensively.
  • Who will man the net for the Stars versus the Kings?  Heika raises a good point.  The Stars are done, so why not dress some youngsters.
  • Was last night’s penalty on Sean Avery a reputation callWell, when you are Avery and continually do things to attract attention to yourself, you are going to have to deal with the odd reputation call.
  • Mike Green back on the ice at practice after missing yesterday with the flu.  The Caps lines are in that post as well.
