What team beat writers are saying this afternoon:

  • A look at who practiced on the Bruins power play today.  Certainly a team that doesn’t lack offensive depth.
  • The Sabres are getting roasted in Buffalo.  Rightfully so.
  • The Hurricanes aren’t expecting the Devils to have an emotional letdown tonight.  Even if they do have a letdown, they are too talented to take lightly at any point in time.
  • Tim Sassone wonders why fans are calling for Dale Tallon’s head while giving Joel Queneville a free passThe Blackhawks are crumbling down the stretch.  One of the worries with young teams is that they get too high and too low and this team appears to be too low right now.
  • Mike Heika asks many questions surrounding Sean Avery and the Stars organizations.  Interesting read.
  • The Panthers are getting a third jersey next season.  I can’t stand these third jerseys.  Honestly, it is enough already.
  • Kevin Weekes starts tonight for New Jersey.  Brodeur could use the break.
