Here are the morning papers for Wednesday the 14th of January:

Given a six day/four game 3 time zone road trip playing two top western teams, I’d say TB did very well to get 2 wins (including the Ducks) and a one goal loss to Phoenix (very hot at home just now). Sure they got blown out in the second of two back to back, with their 3rd string goalie vs arguably the best team (we’ll see vs Detroit this Saturday) in the league (who hadn’t played since last Saturday). That’s a surprise, is it? Not to me — in fact I bet on it: see ABC’s Illegal Curve Hadicapping Challenge.
