What team beat writers are saying this afternoon:

  • Patrice Bergeron was back on the ice for the Bruins today.  Just some light skating, but at least it’s a step forward.
  • The Blue Jackets have placed Rick Nash on IREarliest he is available to return is Friday.
  • Dave Staples wonders what the Oilers will do with Erik Cole considering his pending free agency.  If they do re-sign him, I don’t think it’ll happen before the season ends, but that’s just my opinion.
  • Vincent Lecavalier rumors continue, with Montreal being mentioned as a possible destination.  I think he gets moved but that is a lot of contract to take on.
  • Capitals lines from practice today.  Poti could be out longer than expected.
