- In sad news, Ducks netminder J.S. Giguere’s father has passed away. As the article points out, the Ducks have tried their best to help him through this tough time.
- Here are the Bruins line combinations from practice this morning. Really amazing how well the team has played without much scoring from Patrice Bergeron.
- Mike Keenan says during his time in St. Louis he was ordered to trade the team’s star players. Keenan doesn’t mince words here.
- The Hurricanes have activted Frank Kaberle off of IR. Gives the Canes another puck-mover on the blue line.
- Could Chris Drury be on the move from the Big Apple? Adrian Dater thinks so. I could see the Avs making a major push.
- Here are the lines for the Blue Jackets this morning. I wonder if it may be time to move Brassard back up to center Nash?
- Scott Clemmensen will start the second half of the Devils’ back-to-back tonight in Buffalo. It has become apparent that Sutter has very little confidence in Kevin Weekes
- Lots of news and notes from Wild camp today courtesy of Michael Russo. I think Burns’s move back to defense is very, very significant, even though it is overshadowed by Gaborik’s return to the line-up.
- Here are the Habs lines from practice today. A reunion on the top line.
- Seth Rorabaugh of Empty Netters has an interesting list of the teams that have had the top two NHL point scorers on the same team in one season. I love Gretzky’s 205 to Coffey’s 126. Insane!
- Seems like the Bolts players like Rick Tocchet. Certainly a good thing after the trouble with Melrose.
- Some notes from Capitals practice. Nothing too significant.
