The Islanders have waived veteran winger Jon Sim. Looks like the Islanders are trying make their roster younger.
The Hurricanes have actived Dennis Seidenberg. Getting some a healthy body to return to the back-end, but losing one at the same time.
Will Chris Higgins be on the IR for a while? Looks like it.
Owen Nolan didn’t accompany the Wild on the team’s upcoming road trip. No surprise really.
Mike Modano has been terrific this season, just ask Wayne Gretzky. Agreed.
