    So now the Hurricanes rob Peter of his job and pay Paul.

    Of course, they’ll pay Peter, too.

    (That was a really bad pun, but given that my epitaph was long ago established as “He never could resist.”, at least it was in character.)

    Seriously, though, Carolina’s predicament certainly isn’t Peter’s fault, and Maurice would have been a good choice for Tampa, but now Laviolette is — but it’s too late.
