On the Beat: Gomez returns tonight and third jersey talk

The Bruins have unveiled their third jerseys. Nothing special.
Derick Brassard is off to a fantastic start in Columbus, leading the team in both points and plus/minus. He has really been the reason for Rick Nash’s return to the scoreboard.
Rich Chere provides some answers for a number interesting questions regarding the Devils. Sutter is doing a tremendous job with that group.
Scott Gomez will return tonight for the Rangers. He will play between Drury and Callahan.

Did you see the TB third jerseys yesterday? like the Kings’, I thought they were a cut above the others.

Interesting observation from a friend of mine: sat next to Scotty Bowman on a flight to Ottawa from TO end of last week. The Hawks seem to be looking for a centre if the rumours I hear have any truth to them (Nylander). Likewise, the Sens are looking for a puck moving D — Barker? Johnson? Three way deal? How long will Mike Green be out?
