- A look at what goes on behind the scenes to keep fans entertained during a game. Call me old-fashioned, but I am not much for all the stuff that goes on at games. Something to be said for just watching a game in silence.
- Stan Fischler with all kinds of news and notes from around the league. I always enjoys Fischler’s insight and tidbits into the game.
- A look at the scouting life, by the Hockey News.
- Goalies Gone Wild. I think everyone can agree that goalies are a little nuts, but this serves to perfectly illustrate that point.
- Cycle Like Sedins takes a look at the Gaborik news and wonders if he is worth it. He makes a good point about the amount of time Gaborik spends on the IR. Its a shame that any team will have to factor that into the equation.
- Sportsnet is reporting that Mats Sundin took a physical in Toronto today, a possible first step to returning to the NHL. He would offer a big boost to the Maple Leafs, if he is indeed intent on returning to the Buds.
- On Frozen Blog with an in-depth look at a couple of Caps’ prospects.
- NHL Central Scouting released its list of USHL players to watch in the upcoming draft. I thoughta couple players, including Brett Chartier, would rate higher. Perhaps their stock will improve as the season progresses.
